On October 1, I purchased a brand-new Franke Maris sink from a dealer in Edirne city center and had it professionally installed in my kitchen. Without even using it once — and only after it came into contact with water for the first time — scratch-like marks appeared on the surface. The product was in perfect condition upon delivery, but the moment it was exposed to water, the surface began to look worn and damaged, almost as if it had been abraded. I strongly believe this issue is due to a manufacturing defect, not user error.
When I contacted Franke customer service about the issue, I was told it was caused by improper use, which I find unacceptable. The product has never been used, and such a defect occurring immediately after installation is clearly a production flaw. I paid ₺33,000 for this sink, and having it develop a visible defect so soon has caused serious frustration and loss of trust.
I request an immediate replacement or full refund for this defective product. I expect urgent action and a clear explanation from Franke regarding this quality issue.
