Refusal of Checked Baggage by Flyone Airlines
I purchased a Flyone ticket from Chișinău to London on January 16, 2024, with a checked baggage allowance of 20 kg. At Chișinău airport, I was instructed to take the baggage on board; I was not permitted to check it. When I arrived at customs, I was forced to remove all liquids from the luggage that had been pre-checked. Those items were kept by customs, but they are valuable to me. I was not allowed to return to the airport from customs to hand them over to someone, resulting in a significant loss. By discarding the products from that baggage, I avoided having to purchase (and pay an additional fee for) checked baggage. How and from whom can I receive a refund for my expenses?
