Flydubai Staff Refused Our Check-In and Had My Brother Removed by Police

On Tuesday, April 30, at 2:05 PM, we had a flight from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Dubai. My two brothers and I — three passengers in total — arrived at the airport around 11:45 AM to check in. When it was our turn, the Flydubai staff member at the counter said, “I’m not doing your check-in; I’m not dealing with you.” When we asked why, he kept responding rudely and dismissively. Another staff member standing nearby noticed the situation and stepped in to help us, completing our check-in and issuing our tickets.
We asked for the name of the staff member who refused to assist us so we could file a formal complaint, as his name tag was not visible. He initially refused to give his name, and we only learned it after insisting several times. Afterward, we passed through passport control and waited for boarding time. When we reached the gate to board, we were suddenly told that we were not allowed to board the plane.
At that point, we had no choice but to call the police. With police assistance, we were finally allowed to board. However, as my brother was about to enter the plane, one of the female staff members started crying and accused him of something he hadn’t done. While we were still in shock, the police officers believed her and took my brother off the plane for questioning before the flight departed.
We were treated unfairly and humiliated due to the unprofessional and biased behavior of the airline staff. We are filing a complaint against the responsible personnel involved. The only staff name we were able to confirm is O*.
