Pension Transfer Delay And Unpaid Promotion Complaint

About three months ago, we applied to transfer my father’s retirement pension from Halkbank to Garanti BBVA Burdur Bucak Branch. The only legal obstacle preventing the transfer was the debt owed to the former bank, which we completely paid off approximately 25 days ago. Despite this, Garanti BBVA has still not completed the pension transfer process. As a result of this negligence, my father’s legally scheduled pension payment on November 25, 2025, was not deposited into his account, and the promised pension promotion was also not paid. Preventing a retiree from accessing his only and primary source of income for nearly three months has caused extremely serious financial hardship for us. To formally report this issue to the bank, I called customer service on 25.11.2025 to file a complaint on my father’s behalf. However, the representative with badge number 102290 refused to take my verbal or written complaint, preventing us from exercising our right to file a complaint, and directed me only to the website. This behavior is incompatible with customer service standards and effectively blocks our lawful right to submit a complaint. I request that my father’s pension be transferred immediately to his Garanti BBVA account, that his entitled promotion payment be issued without delay, and that the necessary legal and administrative investigation be initiated regarding the operational negligence of the Burdur Bucak Branch and the service failure of the staff member with badge number 102290. We expect this situation to be resolved urgently.
