Baggage on a Fly Dubai flight was lost or arrived damaged. How can I file a claim and get compensation?

When your baggage is not found at the arrival airport, the first thing you should do is file a claim at the airport directly with the Lost & Found service or Fly Dubai representatives.
You will be asked to complete a relevant form (PIR — Property Irregularity Report) at the airport or be given written confirmation that the baggage has been registered as lost.
If your baggage arrives damaged, you must report the damage at the same desk. Airline representatives are required to accept the claim and prepare an official damage report.
After filing the claim at the airport:
keep a copy of the completed form
take photos of the damaged baggage and its contents
collect receipts for items that were in the baggage if you plan to claim compensation for their value
Next, submit a written claim to Fly Dubai describing:
the fact of baggage loss or damage
digital evidence
proof of the value of the lost or damaged items (receipts, photos)
The airline is required to review the claim and offer compensation in accordance with its carriage rules. The amount and timing of compensation depend on the applicable limits and the losses recognized.
If Fly Dubai delays the review, does not respond, or refuses compensation without explanation, be sure to document the situation on Xolvie.
