Finda Free Trial Turned Into Monthly Charge Without Notice
Apparently (I don’t remember doing it), I signed up for a free trial from finda.net — I think it was in May, but I’m not sure because there were no invoices, statements, or emails showing I would be billed. I had an accident where a car hit me and I was hospitalized for over two weeks and laid up for another three months, so I wasn’t doing much checking of my accounts; when I finally looked at my bank statement I saw a monthly charge of around $65 AU. I immediately emailed asking for help and cancellation but was told they don’t issue refunds and everything is covered by their terms and conditions. I don’t believe I’ve ever used this service — I don’t recall anything at all, maybe because of medication — and my complaint went nowhere. Charging people without creating an account or sending any notice before billing seems illegal; can someone push on this so they can’t keep doing it?
Progress
Apparently (I don't remember doing it, ) but I signed up for a free trial from finda.net*.... This was I think in May, hard to be sure as there are no invoices or statements or even emails to say you are being billed. I had an accident where a car hit me and I was hospitalised for over two weeks and layed up for another 3 months. Wasn't I to doing much research on my accounts, but when I came good so to speak upon looking at my bank statement I see this monthly charge of around $65 au. I quickly sent off an email asking for assistance and for it to be cancelled and received one back saying they don't do refunds and everything is in terms and conditions. I dont think I've ever used this service, I dont recall anything at all, maybe the drugs etc but I got nowhere with my complaint. This not having an account or being sent anything before they bill you must be illegal. Can someone push, this so that they can't keep doing this.
Sorry the complain is to Finda. Not as top says Fonda
