Deichmann Fila Sneakers Tore Within Weeks, Store Refused Replacement
I purchased a pair of Fila sneakers from Deichmann, and within just one to two weeks of use, the inner lining tore apart. I returned the shoes to the store for inspection, and they took them in, saying they would review the issue. However, I have now been waiting for two weeks, only to receive a response stating “no defect found.”
Despite my clear request for a replacement, no one has taken responsibility. The staff at the Antares branch of Deichmann have been dismissive, even though the shoes are visibly damaged and no longer wearable. Instead of addressing the problem, they are leaving the customer stuck with a defective product.
This kind of behavior causes unnecessary frustration and serious consumer harm. Since Deichmann refuses to resolve the matter fairly, I am left with no choice but to escalate my complaint to the Consumer Protection Board.
