Complaint For FamRadar Deducting My Money
I was recently charged by a service called Famradar without my clear consent, and I would like a full refund and cancellation of any hidden or ongoing subscriptions. On my Revolut Visa card ending 3097, I first saw a small “admin charge” of about US$2 when I was searching on Google for help because my friend lost his phone in China. After that, on “yesterday” according to my Revolut statement, at 11:21 AM, Famradar charged me US$49.99, which appears on my Revolut account as a total of $64.26 after currency conversion at an exchange rate of $1 = US$0.7780. I never knowingly agreed to purchase any Famradar subscription or application, and I did not receive any help or usable service in return for these charges. No assistance was provided in locating my friend’s phone, and nothing has been done on the platform that justifies this payment. I only noticed the US$49.99 charge when I tried to pay for a meal and realized there was not enough money left on my card, which has put me in a very difficult financial situation while I am currently in China. I am using Revolut for my payments, and I did not give explicit permission for a recurring or hidden subscription to be taken from my card by Famradar. I request that all unauthorized and hidden subscriptions linked to my card be immediately cancelled and that a full refund of the US$49.99 (charged as $64.26) and the prior admin charge be issued back to my Revolut account. I also ask that my card details be removed from any Famradar billing system so that no further deductions can be made without my clear and informed consent.
