Unauthorized Facebook Charges on My Credit Cards for Six Months

For approximately six months, money has been regularly charged to my credit cards through my Facebook account without my knowledge or authorization. Payments ranging from 2,500 TL to 6,000 TL (approximately $51–$123) have been charged to my Garanti Bank, VakıfBank, and Akbank credit cards even though I did not make or authorize any of these transactions.

As soon as I noticed the unauthorized charges, I contacted my banks, reported the situation, and had to block all of my credit cards. Despite this, the fact that unauthorized charges could repeatedly be made through my Facebook account has caused me significant financial and personal distress.

As of today, I absolutely do not authorize Facebook to make any charges or collect any payments from any bank account or credit card belonging to me. I request that all amounts charged through Facebook without my authorization be fully and promptly refunded to the cards that were charged. I also request that Facebook immediately conduct a thorough investigation into the security of my account and payment information and provide me with a written explanation of the findings.
