Four months ago, I purchased an Evenflo car seat for my child. I have never removed it from the car and I am very careful with it. However, despite this, the strap has worn out prematurely. I contacted customer service and reported the problem, sent them photos, and requested a replacement. They told me that I would be contacted by the relevant department within 48 hours. Yesterday, a customer service representative called and told me that they had determined the problem was due to user error and that they would not be able to provide free support. They suggested that the damage may have been caused by a pet. This is absurd and untrue, as I have never owned a pet. I am extremely disappointed with Evenflo's customer service and the quality of their products. As a result, I will be purchasing a different brand of car seat and will not be doing business with Evenflo again. I will also be sure to share my negative experiences with others.
