Emirates Delays Round-Trip Flight and Ruins Customer Vacation Plans
We experienced severe delays on our Emirates flights from Istanbul to Dubai on July 13, 2026, and from Dubai to Istanbul on July 18, 2026. Our outbound flight was delayed by approximately 3 hours, while on the return trip, staff kept us waiting for a long time before boarding, and then held us on the plane for about an hour before takeoff.
Because of these delays, we lost nearly two days of a vacation we had planned months in advance. Our pre-arranged airport transfers went to waste, forcing us to incur extra transportation expenses and disrupting our entire itinerary. Throughout this process, we suffered significant wasted time, financial loss, and deep frustration.
I submitted a formal complaint to Emirates customer service, and I expect a fair evaluation to address our financial and emotional distress. A major, prestigious airline should not mistreat passengers like this, and I demand a reasonable explanation along with appropriate compensation for the delays we endured.
