On 19.12.2025, I purchased a brand-new Electrolux EW8F7417QT washing machine from the Electrolux store located inside the MediaMarkt branch at Marmara Park Shopping Mall in Istanbul, Turkey. From the first day of use, the Wi-Fi feature of the product has not functioned due to the machine’s software not being up to date. I am using an iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 18, and the official Electrolux mobile application is installed and fully up to date. Despite meeting all technical requirements, the washing machine cannot be used with its Wi-Fi feature as advertised. Regarding this issue, I have contacted both Electrolux customer service and the authorized technical service multiple times. Electrolux has confirmed in writing that the problem is software-related and requires a software update. The authorized service carried out an inspection but was unable to resolve the issue on-site and subsequently took the machine to their service center for a software update. Despite this process, the issue has still not been resolved. My primary expectation is that this software-related issue will be permanently resolved as soon as possible through a proper software update and that the washing machine will fully operate with all advertised features, including Wi-Fi. If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, I expect either a replacement with a new and fully functional product or a full refund of the purchase price. If necessary, I am prepared to provide and share all related documents and details of the process I have experienced so far.

I personally visited the authorized technical service workshop and had the opportunity to see the process on site. In the information provided to me by the service team, it was stated that no software updates or technical operations were performed on the device at the service workshop, only the Wi‑Fi connection was checked. I would also like to note that I was received attentively during the service visit and that the necessary explanations were given clearly. The device is connected to my home Wi‑Fi network and is currently being used without any issues via the Electrolux app. I would like to thank, in particular, Mr. Murat, the responsible person of the Küçükçekmece service, and his staff for the support and information provided throughout the process.
