Beware eDreams 'Upgrade' Scam - My Review and Customer Service Frustration

I had a flight scheduled with Pegasus Airlines on October 18, 2023, departing at 23:05. One day prior to my flight, I contacted Pegasus to inquire about any changes, but mistakenly called eDreams customer service instead. Without clarifying the mix-up, they requested my flight information, entered it into their system, and claimed my ticket was in the reservation stage, needing a payment of over 160 euros for an update. They threatened automatic cancellation if I didn't decide immediately. Feeling pressured, I reluctantly agreed to pay the 160 euros. However, they charged me 187 euros instead. When I contacted Pegasus, they denied any issues with my ticket, stating that eDreams had made unnecessary updates and withdrawals. Despite the reservation stage, Pegasus confirmed that such procedures are typically free, and no additional fees were warranted. I demand a refund of the unjustly taken 187 euros. eDreams refuses to reimburse, citing their inability to reverse the transaction. This is a clear case of deception, and I won't stand for being unjustly taken advantage of.
