I recently purchased the Ecovacs Deebot N20 robot vacuum, and I have been struggling for days to complete the setup. The process goes smoothly until the final step, where it asks me to connect to the robot's Wi-Fi. At that point, it prompts me to enter a Wi-Fi password, but there is no mention of any password in the user manual, packaging, or anywhere else.
The manual says the device should connect automatically, but that’s clearly not happening. I’ve searched forums, tried default passwords, and reset the device multiple times with no success. It's exhausting and extremely frustrating to deal with something so simple yet so poorly documented.
I expect much more from a brand like Ecovacs. A smart device should have clear instructions for setup, especially when it involves Wi-Fi pairing. I urge the company to provide a clear resolution, such as the default password, an updated manual, or app update to eliminate this issue. Until then, my expensive vacuum is just sitting unused, and I’m completely disappointed.
