I purchased the Dyson V15 Total on November 22, 2024, and it was delivered the same day. However, after just one use, I encountered a significant issue. While trying to empty the bin, the red seal and the gray circular clip that secures it detached from their positions. Despite being technically skilled and reattaching the parts myself, the same issue occurred again when reassembling the bin onto the machine.
This appears to be a manufacturing defect in the gray clip and its housing. Shockingly, after researching online and on complaint platforms like Şikayetvar, I found numerous similar complaints about this specific issue. It’s frustrating that Dyson has not addressed this problem after all this time.
For a vacuum cleaner with such a high price tag, how could Dyson not implement a simple solution like securing the gray clip with three small screws? After just one day of use, I’m already disappointed and regretful about my purchase. Dyson, please resolve this issue promptly or provide a replacement.
