A word of advice for anyone considering buying the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute: be aware that there are no spare parts stocked in Turkey. As an electronic product with many components, it’s prone to malfunctions or damage. While it does come with a two-year warranty, the replacement parts can take up to a year to arrive. My vacuum’s tube broke, and although we requested a replacement and are willing to pay for it, it’s been 20 days without any updates on when it will arrive. Previously, we waited a whole year for another part to be replaced.
Currently, my vacuum is unusable due to the missing tube, and customer service cannot provide an estimated arrival time as they are waiting for stock from the UK. I’m now forced to buy another vacuum. In essence, if you’re purchasing a Dyson vacuum, you might need to buy a backup vacuum as well. If Dyson cannot maintain a spare parts inventory in Turkey, they should reconsider selling their products here.
