Dyson Turkey Refuses To Send Promised Campaign Gift
I purchased a Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ Multistyler and Dryer (Prussian Blue/Rich Copper) from the official “Dyson Turkey” store on Hepsiburada on February 21st with order number 454 474 336 6. At the time of purchase, there was an active “Free Travel Bag” campaign valid between January 29 and March 2, and I placed my order within this campaign period. However, my product was delivered without the promised travel bag. I officially reported the missing gift to Dyson Turkey Support on March 1st, while the campaign was still ongoing. Despite my timely notification, Dyson Turkey failed to respond within a reasonable time and only contacted me on March 5th to state that they could not help because “the campaign has ended.” I find this completely unacceptable, as I am being penalized for Dyson Turkey’s delayed response even though I reported the issue within the campaign dates. To make matters worse, another Dyson Airwrap order placed for a family member on March 1st, with order number 459 517 496 3, was delivered with the same travel bag included. This clearly shows that there was sufficient stock at the time I reported my missing item, and it disproves the implication that the campaign or stock situation prevents them from fulfilling their obligation in my case. I consider this situation a violation of consumer rights, as the brand is not honoring the advertised campaign for a purchase that clearly meets all the conditions and was reported in time. I request that Dyson Turkey and the Dyson store on Hepsiburada immediately send me the missing travel bag that was promised at the time of purchase. I also expect a clear explanation and assurance that similar delays and excuses will not affect other customers. If this issue is not resolved promptly and the missing gift is not shipped to me, I will continue to escalate the matter on all relevant platforms and proceed with an official complaint to the Consumer Rights authorities.
Update March 5th: Despite all evidence provided, Dyson Turkey support replied with a generic template stating 'no active campaign is available,' ignoring that my claim was made during the campaign period. This is a blatant denial of consumer rights.
Following Dyson Turkey's unjust rejection of the request I filed on March 1 (during the campaign period), as of today I have completed my official application to the Consumer Arbitration Board of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey under the number 2026/0236.2541. I will continue to monitor the process both through legal channels and on global platforms until the delivery of the promotion I have won is ensured.
Update: Since Dyson Turkey continues to deny my rights, I have officially escalated the case to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Official Government Authority) today. I will not drop this case until my promised campaign gift is delivered.
