I have been using the Dyson Corrale hair straightener for a long time. However, a few days ago, I encountered an issue with the battery. I could style my hair twice after a full charge, and until the last moment, I experienced no power loss. But a few days ago, my straightener wouldn't turn on, so I sent it in for service.
Today, when they responded, they said that the battery is broken, cannot be replaced, and the device needs to be disposed of. When I inquired about potential solutions, they mentioned offering a new device with a 25% discount. Even with a 25% discount, the price is almost equal to the minimum wage, and it's the most expensive device. Additionally, there is no user error here, as they themselves acknowledged! (They state that the product is now considered waste.)
I own all Dyson devices, from the hair straightener to the vacuum cleaner, but now I have doubts and mistrust. It's unexpected for such a reputable company to disown responsibility for its product! I am awaiting a proposal for resolving this issue!
