I took my Dyson Airwrap to an unauthorized service center claiming to be an official repair shop. I paid ₺3,600 for the repair, but it only made the issue worse. Now my hair is sticky and the problem remains unresolved. I sent it directly to customer service, but they returned it claiming the product was not original. The item is in my possession with no solution in sight.
What can I do in this situation? We are not purchasing a cheap product. How would I know if an item is original or not? In this case, the company should stand behind its brand. I am frustrated that an unauthorized repair worsened the issue and that customer service refused to assist, citing a non-original product despite my purchase from an official retailer.
I expect Dyson to investigate this matter, provide a resolution, and clarify their stance on unauthorized repairs. Leaving a customer with a non-functioning product and no recourse is unacceptable. I hope to receive a prompt response and a path forward to resolve this issue with my Dyson Airwrap.
