I purchased the Dyson Airstrait on August 20 and was only able to use it three times before it seriously damaged my hair. I had previously been using the Dyson Airwrap without any issues. After a recent haircut, I decided to try the Airstrait—and that was a mistake. I used it twice on wet hair and once on dry, and all three times, the device burned my hair.
Now my hair feels rough, brittle, and frizzy, with a texture like straw. It’s visibly damaged and completely different from how it was before. I paid ₺20,000 for this tool, trusting the Dyson brand, and instead I’m left with permanently damaged hair after just a few uses.
Before writing this complaint, I contacted Dyson customer service. Unfortunately, they told me they wouldn’t provide support, claiming that the device is functioning properly and the issue must be due to the condition of my hair, not their product. That response is completely unacceptable.
