I booked a stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton for October 20-23, 2024. Upon arriving at the hotel on October 20, I was informed that my reservation had been moved to a different, affiliated hotel without prior notice. The hotel claimed I should have been informed beforehand, but I never received any such communication. I will provide the confirmation email I received just one day prior to my check-in as proof.
Being forced to relocate to another hotel late at night was highly inconvenient and unprofessional. This experience did not align with Hilton’s reputation for quality. This was only my second Hilton stay—while the first was excellent, this experience has left me disappointed. I request an explanation and appropriate resolution for this situation.
