Milk Frothing by Delonghi Magnifica Evo Is Ineffective
On the day our Delonghi Magnifica Evo Automatic Coffee Machine was delivered, which was August 30, 2023, we were disappointed to find out that it didn't froth milk as expected.
Even though I paid an extra ₺2,000 for what I thought would be a reliable product with an easy return policy from Delonghi's official website, I was disappointed. I tried to contact the online sales consultant but couldn't reach them, so I decided to call Delonghi's number directly for help.
Man, it was a rude awakening. Turns out, there's no such thing as a "simple return policy" when it comes to buying stuff online. Even the salespeople didn't seem to know about that policy. After being redirected multiple times, someone suggested that I should reach out to technical support first. The difference between what they said about the easy return process and how trustworthy their website actually is became really obvious.
I didn't want to keep a broken device, so I quickly took it to technical service on the same day. They promised me that they would take quick action. Now, I'm just waiting anxiously for a solution as the clock keeps ticking. By the way, I found out that Fakir is the authorized distributor of Delonghi products in Turkey.
I'm really disappointed with these brands because of the uncertainty around a ₺28,000 purchase, the lack of functionality, and the fact that they don't have a clear plan to fix the issue. It has definitely made me think negatively about them. I regret it because I believed the return policy would be easy, but it wasn't.
It's been 35 days, but we still haven't heard anything from Delonghi or Fakir. The service calls we receive every day just repeat the same message that the faulty part has been ordered. It's pretty ironic that a product delivered by courier in just two days hasn't been serviced for 35 days. This makes us wonder about Fakir's distribution and Delonghi's production management processes. It shows that there are some big problems with how they handle things. The fact that customers are not happy with Fakir and Delonghi suggests that these brands might be losing their relevance after the pandemic.
