We were so excited on July 21, 2022, when we got the Delonghi ICM 17210 Filter Coffee Maker for our home. We had no idea that there was a problem hidden in the warranty, and it ended up causing a lot of trouble with our coffee situation. Our coffee maker, which was recommended by Delonghi's headquarters, started its service journey on August 8, 2023. It has been facing some challenges along the way. But even though a whole month went by, we didn't hear anything back—no feedback, no updates.
The authorized service, which seems to have gotten lost during their move, said they never got the product. On the other hand, the people in charge said they couldn't check our coffee maker because, apparently, it never came to their office.
We were hoping for clear assistance from the call center, but unfortunately, our expectations for support that aligns with our brand were not met. Instead, someone told us to use our legal rights. Basically, the product we picked turned out to be a disappointment. It didn't live up to its promise of quality and service, and on top of that, the customer support was really bad. This request for a solution applies to all of us and also affects other customers and Delonghi's reputation.
To the leaders at Delonghi, who are responsible for protecting the brand's reputation, and to all the consumers reading this review, we want to share our honest experience. If our complaint is not addressed, as suggested, we will take legal action to protect our rights.
