Decathlon Ultim Comfort Inflatable Mattress Is Losing Error





Decathlon proves to be an unsatisfactory company that lacks customer support. We purchased an Ultim Comfort inflatable mattress three months ago, which, despite being faulty, has not been eligible for replacement. On August 3, 2023, we bought the Ultim Comfort inflatable mattress from Decathlon Torium branches. Two months later, during a camping trip, we noticed the mattress was losing air. Upon returning home, we stored the mattresses in a dark place, away from sunlight. After one month, when we wanted to organize the storage, we found that one of the mattresses had inflated significantly compared to the other. We promptly took the issue to the Decathlon Mall Of Istanbul branch. After their inspection, they claimed that there was an imperceptible hole on the top surface of the mattress, suggesting it was due to user error. They proposed a repair with a patch, which they insisted we pay for. Despite our objections and the fact that the product is covered by a 5-year warranty, they insisted on labeling it as user error. To our dismay, the suggested patch came off with a gentle tap when we went to pick up the supposedly repaired mattress on November 26, 2023. The staff acknowledged the issue and sent it for repair again, only to inform us today that the patch has been reapplied. This experience has been disheartening, considering the significant amount spent on these products. Decathlon's refusal to acknowledge the defective nature of the product and their insistence on charging for repairs under warranty have left us utterly dissatisfied. We demand a replacement with a fully functional product, as per our rights under the warranty.

Hello, they stated that they applied the second patch for our Ultim Comfort mattress on November 27, 2023, and that there were no issues left with the product, so we accepted the delivery. What exactly do they mean by "we tested it"? The mattress is still inflating on its own. They have caused so much trouble that I want a refund. Selling a defective product, refusing to exchange it, and trying to blame the user for the fault—what a nice life. I am attaching the difference between the two mattresses.






Hello, ve received the bed on 27 November 2023, as they states that the second patch of the product was glued and tested and that there was no problem. However, when ve put it in our pantry closet, which ve have stored with the other bed, it continues to swell again in 2 days as before. This process has taken too long, ı want my refund. I have attached the images showing the difference between the 2 beds.
