Decathlon Refuses Warranty on Running Shoes with Defect Due to “Daily Use” Excuse

I bought a pair of running shoes from Decathlon two months ago, and the toe area has already started to tear. Despite having the receipt and invoice, when I took them in for warranty service, I was told, "These are running shoes, and you used them for daily wear, not running." This is puzzling – how does wearing them daily make them ineligible for warranty?
Decathlon’s refusal to replace or repair them due to such an excuse feels misleading. Whether for running or daily use, a quality shoe shouldn’t show damage this quickly. I expect Decathlon to stand by their products and resolve this issue with a fair exchange or repair.
