While checking in for my Corendon Airlines flight from Saarbrücken to Antalya on April 1, 2024, I was told one of my bags was overweight and required a fee. Although I could address it later, the lack of upfront payment options raised concerns. After security, the staff demanded a €110 fee despite the mere 2 kg excess. My request for a price list was denied, and refusing the fee resulted in aggressive behavior from staff, who even involved the police. Intervention from another Corendon representative eventually allowed boarding, but the experience left me deeply dissatisfied. I expect an apology for the treatment, a refund of the excess baggage fee, and improved staff training to prevent similar situations for future passengers. Additionally, the lack of clear information about excess baggage fees and communication issues due to limited English proficiency further aggravated the situation. I urge Corendon Airlines to take this complaint seriously and implement measures to ensure a more positive customer experience.
