Corendon Airlines changed the time of our Nürnberg to Izmir flight on June 20, 2024, which we booked in May 2024, from 22:50 to 05:15, only informing us of the time change. The day before the flight, we received an email that our flight was approaching and that online check-in was open, along with a check-in link. For 12 hours, we tried to check in online using the provided link and the PNR code on their website and app, but it gave errors saying "reservation not found" and "check-in not yet open."
We called customer service, but they said they couldn’t help. They advised us to check in at the airport and request a refund for any check-in fees. We submitted an online request through Corendon’s app. We arrived at the airport six hours before the flight and waited in the Corendon line for information. We then learned our flight was transferred to SunExpress, but we hadn’t been informed about this transfer.
We tried to check in online with SunExpress using the Corendon PNR code, but it didn’t work. Ultimately, two hours before the flight, we had to pay for check-in with SunExpress. Corendon responded to our request saying our flight was transferred to SunExpress, and we should have done our check-in there?! Corendon did not inform us about the flight transfer, sent us an email with a check-in link for their own site, and didn’t provide the necessary information for checking in with SunExpress. I am requesting a refund from Corendon for the online check-in fee paid to SunExpress.
