On June 23, 2024, I had a Corendon Airlines flight scheduled for 02:05 AM from Nuremberg Airport to Antalya Airport. Upon arriving at the airport, we learned that the flight would be delayed by 1 hour and 30 minutes. We had a connecting bus from Antalya bus terminal to Izmir at 08:30 AM the same morning. Due to the flight delay, we missed our bus connection. Being the end of a holiday period, finding alternative transportation was extremely difficult. (We eventually found a last-minute bus ticket for 11:30 AM, costing ₺2200.)
We landed in Antalya at 07:58 AM. When we reached the Corendon office, they claimed there was nothing they could do. Our original flight was supposed to be from Munich Airport to Izmir Airport, but Corendon had cancelled that flight. We were forced to book the closest return flight from Antalya.
I want the airline to cover our additional expenses. I filled out a complaint form on Corendon's website but received no response. I have documentation for the flight ticket, delay, and bus ticket. I'm seeking compensation for the inconvenience we experienced.
