Columbia Coat Change Request Rejection



I ordered a jacket for my wife as a gift online, and it arrived via shipping. But when we tried it on, it was too big, so we returned it. However, the store refused the exchange because there were some cat hairs on the jacket that became stuck on it while we were trying it on. I find it odd that a brand like Columbia would refuse an exchange based on a few cat hairs on an unworn jacket with tags still attached. I also bought 2 jackets for myself, one of which was defective and accepted for exchange. However, they will no longer accept a jacket with a few cat hairs on it. They should have been more considerate, especially since pet owners are typically sensitive about such matters. So, instead of just an exchange, I'm requesting a refund for all of the jackets. And if they refuse, I'll take action using any means available to me.
