Columbia Delayed My Jacket Refund for 90 Days After I Returned It Due to Odor

On April 2, 2025, I purchased a jacket from the Columbia store. I returned it the very next day, April 3, 2025, because it had a noticeable body odor and I didn’t feel comfortable wearing it. I was informed that since I made the purchase in two installments, the refund would also be processed in two parts—first installment after 45 days, and the second one 45 days after that, totaling 90 days. During a phone call last week, I was told the first installment would be refunded then, but I still haven’t received any payment. Is this even acceptable? Under the name of so-called customer satisfaction, you’re causing unnecessary inconvenience to your customers.
