China Southern Stole Electronics from My Luggage on Return Flight from Japan
I purchased a round-trip flight to Japan with China Southern Airlines, including a layover. Everything seemed fine until we returned home and started unpacking. To our shock, we discovered that the electronic items we had purchased in Japan were stolen from our checked baggage.
This is the first time I’ve ever experienced theft through an airline, and I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. We trusted China Southern with our belongings, only to return home and realize that valuables were missing straight out of our suitcase.
I have no idea how to proceed or how my loss will be compensated. I am requesting an urgent investigation, accountability from the airline, and a full reimbursement for the stolen electronics. This type of security lapse is unacceptable, and passengers shouldn't have to fear for their belongings when flying internationally. China Southern must take responsibility and resolve this issue promptly.
