Character AI Age Verification Error Blocks My Messages

I use the Character.AI app on iOS, and for about a week now, I have been experiencing the same issue in every conversation. After chatting for about one hour, the conversation suddenly gets interrupted, and I see a message saying: “Break time! Your chat will reopen when the countdown ends. If you are over 18, you can verify your age in Settings > Advanced > Verify Age.” Once this warning appears, I am unable to send messages for hours, which completely ruins my experience with the service.

I tried following the steps (Settings > Advanced > Verify Age) to complete the age verification, but the system gives an error and does not complete the process. When I contacted support about this issue, I only received a brief “okay” response, and no actual fix or action was taken. The problem still continues exactly the same.

I request that Character.AI either remove this age verification interruption during chats or at least fix it so it works properly. I want the verification error resolved, my conversations not to be interrupted without reason, and a permanent solution that does not negatively impact users.
