Character AI Removed Edit Button On iOS And Ruined User Experience

March 30 3:16 AM47

I have been using Character AI for over a year on the iOS app, and until now, I was very satisfied with the experience. However, after the recent changes, my usage has been seriously affected, and I am quite disappointed. As of today, the edit button has been removed in the iOS app. I regularly need to edit my messages to characters, especially when there is a typo or when I want to correct or refine what I wrote. Without the edit option, conversations become messy, and it is much harder to communicate properly with the characters. This change has directly reduced the quality and enjoyment of using your app for me. In addition, the 18+ age verification screen keeps popping up, even though I am already over 18. This constant verification request is unnecessary and disruptive to the experience. It interrupts the flow of using the app and feels repetitive and frustrating. I do not mind changes such as ads, but removing such a crucial feature like the edit button and constantly forcing age verification has made the app much less user‑friendly. I kindly request that you bring back the edit button on iOS and adjust the age verification so that it does not repeatedly appear for users who are already over 18.
