If Character.ai age check error is triggering time limits,

Verify your account age first;

• Go to:
– Account settings → Profile

• Check:
– Birthdate entered correctly

• Important:
– Wrong or missing age → system treats you as a minor
– This triggers automatic limits

Fix the age verification issue;

• If editable:
– Update your correct birthdate

• If NOT editable:
– You’ll need support to fix it

• Deleting/recreating account may reset age (last resort)

Clear possible system errors;

• Try:
– Log out and log back in
– Clear app/browser cache
– Disable VPN (can trigger false flags)
– Use a different device/browser

Sometimes it’s a detection bug.

Contact support (most important);

• Write:
– “My account is incorrectly flagged as underage. This triggers time limits. Please fix my age verification.”

• Include:
– Account email
– Screenshot of issue

• Ask for:
– Age correction or manual verification
