CarJet Denied My Car Rental With Unfair Service

Today, August 29, 2025, at 12:40 PM, I arrived at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 12:50 PM to pick up my used car using the reservation number CJT-187235126. However, assuming your company had an office for the entire round-trip period, I went to the car rental office located in the air conditioning unit. However, I realized there wasn't one, and the phone number you may have provided in your reservation was being used. Even the employees who were supposed to return the car received information about my call from the reservation. Besides my passport, the management and the attendant, who said they would arrive in half an hour, asked me if I had my passport. Due to the lack of my passport due to domestic flights, the attendant requested a €1,000 deposit. Since I reviewed the correspondence on my mobile phone, I realized that this amount, listed as €1,000 on your company's website, was actually a €1,000 deposit. (The similarity of the signs representing the Turkish Lira and Euro currencies was a major factor in this.) At 1:40 PM, the officer who was supposed to continue the vehicle collection process on behalf of your company was not currently at the airport. I contacted the officer by phone, who requested to cancel the vehicle instead of continuing the vehicle transport. He told me to handle this through your company. I couldn't access their email address because I didn't have a phone number for your company. In your response to my cancellation request at 3:03 PM, your company stated that if any changes need to be made to your statement, please inform me that I can request this from your rental receipt before the pickup time. However, the primary responsibility for this delay lies with your company, not me. By not having the vehicle ready for pickup, and subsequently rejecting my cancellation request and declaring that you would not refund the ₺3618 already collected, you have acted unfairly and unlawfully, clearly demonstrating that your company's commercial policy is based on exploitation and plunder. This situation is clearly unfair, as it constitutes defective service and fraud, within the scope of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the "Distance Contracts Regulation." You provided the necessary infrastructure (in-airport office) for the reservation to begin on time, and you provided the service as defective. You are responsible for rendering the contract impossible and producing it.
