I Demand Warranty Replacement for Defective Canon Print Head

June 7 2:43 PM

I purchased a Canon CA91 QY6-8002 black print head cartridge for my Canon Pixma G2411 printer from the seller Trend Bilgisayar on Hepsiburada. Even though the product cost around $37 and came with a 24-month warranty, it malfunctioned about 2.5 months after I installed it as a brand-new item.
When I installed the new cartridge in the printer, I got an E05 error code on the printer's screen, along with a "1430 – Cartridge not recognized" error on the computer. However, when I put the old cartridge back in, the printer recognizes it without any issues and prints fine — the prints just come out very faint, with no error code showing at all. Because of this, I believe the problem is entirely caused by the new cartridge I purchased.
I clearly explained to the seller, via chat, that I was getting a "black cartridge not recognized" error on screen, that the cartridge itself was clearly labeled as a black cartridge, and that the product was only about 2.5 months old — I also shared photos and, since the warranty was still active, requested a phone number for technical support or someone I could speak with directly. In response, the seller only said, "Unfortunately, we can't provide a contact number. Could you try removing and reinstalling it?" Even though I've removed and reinstalled the cartridge multiple times, the problem persists exactly as before.
I also reached out to Canon Eurasia's Technical Support Line (case number CEA-0114346), and I was told the issue might be ink-related. However, the fact that the old cartridge is recognized without any issues, while only the new, 2.5-month-old cartridge produces the E05 and "1430 – Cartridge not recognized" errors, clearly shows that the problem stems from a defect in the cartridge I purchased — not from user error or how it was installed. I don't think it's right to attribute this to an "ink-related issue" without any actual technical inspection of the product.
I'm requesting that this cartridge, which I believe to be defective, be technically inspected under warranty, and that — if the defect is confirmed — the cartridge be replaced with a new one free of charge, or that I receive a refund.
