Cambly Subscription Cancellation Denied and Refund Policy is Confusing

On June 30, 2024, I purchased a course from Cambly, only to realize later that it was a group lesson. I immediately requested cancellation, but Cambly responded with a convoluted explanation, stating that because I had committed to a 3, 6, or 12-month plan, the discount I received was voided. They also claimed that early cancellation results in charges for the full, undiscounted amount for the time used, leaving no refund for the remaining period if the calculated total exceeds the subscription fee.

This explanation is not only confusing but deeply unfair. I haven’t been able to use the app for months, yet Cambly continues to charge me automatically. I demand the immediate cancellation of my subscription and a full refund without deductions. If this issue isn’t resolved promptly, I will escalate my complaint to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
