Busuu Charged Me Monthly Without Consent After SMS

I was shocked to find out that a Busuu subscription had been activated without my knowledge or consent—triggered by an SMS from the number 3699. We never signed up for any membership, nor did we agree to any recurring monthly payments. And yet, we’re now facing a ₺200 monthly charge for a service we didn’t ask for. The only way we even became aware of the subscription was through that unexpected message. This is a serious violation of consumer rights. We were never informed, never gave approval, and yet we’re being billed as if we agreed to it. Now we’re being told to call 0850 255 36 99, but that’s not a resolution—this charge should never have happened in the first place. Busuu must immediately cancel this unauthorized subscription and refund every charge made without our consent. I expect this to be resolved without further delay.
