On the evening of September 12, 2025, around 7–8 PM, I ordered three meals from the Burger King branch at Şanlıurfa Piazza Mall, including a Big King and a kids’ menu. My child only ate the fries, while I ate both the burger and fries. The fries were extremely burnt and practically inedible.
Shortly after leaving the mall, my child began vomiting. At first, I thought it might be unrelated, but a few hours later I also vomited the fries, and both of us developed diarrhea. Since that night, we’ve been in very poor condition, unable to leave the house for two days and forced to rely on medication.
We paid about 870₺ in total, yet even the order was mishandled. In the kids’ menu, we specifically asked for large fries but were given small ones instead. The staff later added another small portion to “make up for it,” which only added to the disappointment. Interestingly, my spouse—who did not eat any fries—had no health problems at all, further proving that the fries were the cause.
This experience has left us both financially and emotionally harmed. I am demanding a full refund, a formal apology, and reimbursement for our medical expenses. Customers should not be subjected to food poisoning and poor service at a global chain like Burger King.
