Bad-Smelling Burger at Burger King Led to Health Issues

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, I ordered the 2-piece Chicken Royale menu from the Burger King branch located in Istanbul, through the Tıkla Gelsin app. While eating the second burger in the menu, I noticed a strong and unpleasant smell of oil; I felt that the product was neither fresh nor safe to consume, and I was unable to continue eating it. Even though I chose this newly opened branch because I trusted its hygiene standards, experiencing something like this was extremely disappointing.
After consuming the product, I later experienced diarrhea and was negatively affected health-wise. This raises serious concerns regarding food safety and whether proper hygiene practices are being followed. I cannot accept products being served in conditions that may put people’s health at risk.
For this reason, I request that the necessary inspections and evaluations be carried out regarding this branch; that the freshness and suitability of the ingredients and cooking oil used in food preparation be reviewed; and that I be provided with a refund and appropriate compensation due to the discomfort and health issues I experienced. I also request that urgent and concrete measures be taken to prevent similar situations from happening to other customers.
