Buddy.ai Charged Me Without Active Subscription or My Consent
I am very frustrated with Buddy.ai. Despite not having an active subscription for months and not using the app at all, I was suddenly charged ₺499 from my credit card without any prior notice or authorization. The app had been deleted from our devices a long time ago, and we hadn’t logged in since.
Out of concern, I reinstalled the app to check if there was any trace of an active subscription—but nothing appeared. I also checked every Google account and phone number tied to our devices and confirmed there were no subscriptions. Even if one had existed, we were never notified, and certainly never gave consent for this charge.
Because of this unauthorized withdrawal, I had to urgently cancel credit cards I’ve used securely for years and reset all my banking credentials, creating both financial and emotional stress. I demand a full refund for the ₺499 taken without my consent and compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused. Buddy.ai must take responsibility for this unauthorized transaction and prevent similar issues for others in the future.
