I’m very frustrated with Buddy.ai for charging me ₺349.90 every month without my knowledge. I initially signed up in August 2024 for what was advertised as a one-month trial, followed by an optional continuation plan. The promotion clearly stated that the first month was free and included an additional 3-month bonus if you decided to continue. I was not satisfied with the app and assumed everything was canceled after the initial payment.
To my shock, I discovered today—while reviewing my credit card statements—that the app had been withdrawing money from my account for months. This happened without any notification or approval. What’s worse is that the system apparently activates automatic payments the moment your card is saved, even if you’ve not clearly authorized it.
I just canceled the subscription, but I feel deceived and taken advantage of. I demand a full refund for the months I didn’t knowingly subscribe. I also expect Buddy.ai to stop misleading customers with unclear terms and vague promotions. Immediate action and transparency are needed.
