I bought the Braun Multiquick 7025 Hand Blender from Media Markt on April 2, 2023. Just six months later, I was chopping tomatoes with the 0.6 kg chopping bowl (which I hadn't used much before), and something terrible happened. The blender just started spinning on its own, and when we checked, we found out that the plastic holding the blade to the bowl had melted. During the weekend, I reached out to Media Markt and dropped off the blender to get it fixed.
A few days later, I got a call from the authorized service center. It was a lady who said she was a representative of Braun's authorized service. She told me that the product was damaged while being used, so it can't be repaired under warranty. I just had to ask the lady what materials she suggests for chopping that won't put too much pressure on the blender when dicing tomatoes. What's the reply? They can fix it, but it'll cost you and there won't be any extra warranty. So, it looks like Braun made a blender that can handle ingredients like milk and olive oil really well, but not tomatoes.
