Bosch Water Dispenser Repair or Replace Dilemma

My water dispenser in Izmir's Tire neighborhood hadn't been working properly for a while, so I went to the Bosch service center to inquire about it. My explanation of the problem was received over the phone, along with the information that the product in question could not be repaired and that I would have to buy a replacement instead. Instead, I went to an unofficially recognized local repair service in the same district and paid 1000 TL to have the product repaired. This caused me to consider: Why doesn't Bosch take responsibility for the quality and longevity of their products? Should we get rid of everything broken and replace it with something new? Does Bosch keep its promise of providing high-quality service while also cultivating a disciplined and well-trained workforce?
