Bosch Stated That They Won't Be Able To Repair My Air Conditioner

In 2010, I purchased an air conditioner from Bosch, and ever since then, the outdoor unit has been giving me problems. I was informed by the authorized service personnel that the motherboard of the device was damaged and would need to be replaced. However, when they called me later, they informed me that they were unable to repair it because they no longer manufacture motherboards for products that are more than 10 years old. Even more surprising is the fact that they did not provide any potential alternatives to the problem. If this is the case, then does Bosch truly anticipate that we will dispose of their air conditioners after only ten years of use?
