I Experienced Misleading Photos and Unhealthy Conditions at The Best Apartments Prague





I stayed with my family at The Best Apartments in Prague, Czech Republic, from September 6-9, 2024. We booked the hotel through Booking.com, trusting the beautiful photos showcased on their website. However, upon arrival, we found that these images were entirely misleading. We were assigned a room located below the main entrance, at the very end of a long corridor. The room reeked of sewage, dampness, and mold. Instead of an air conditioner, there was only an air purifier, indicating that the management was aware of the poor conditions. This not only ruined our stay but also posed a health risk.
These critical details were not disclosed in the reservation confirmation or on the website. Encountering such a situation at the last minute disrupted our entire vacation, and finding alternative accommodation was extremely difficult. When we raised our concerns, the hotel official accused us of not being friendly. Although we received a 15% refund through Booking.com, it doesn't compensate for the insincerity and indifference of the hotel management or for misleading customers. I urge The Best Apartments and Booking.com to address these issues promptly to prevent others from experiencing the same disappointment.
