Hello, I attempted to make a hotel reservation through Booking.com. After entering and confirming my payment details, I received an error message stating, "Your reservation was not completed." When I checked my bank account, I noticed that the payment had been deducted, but I didn't receive a reservation confirmation.
I contacted Booking.com customer service via email and was asked for details about my reservation. I provided the requested information, but they repeatedly asked for the same details, leading me to believe that I'm receiving automated responses instead of help from real people.
I tried calling the international phone numbers provided twice but couldn't reach anyone. The emails I received suggested contacting the hotel directly. When I did, the hotel informed me that they had no record of my reservation and advised me to resolve the issue with Booking.com.
I assumed it was a system error and tried making the reservation again, only to encounter the same issue. Now, I have been charged twice without receiving any reservation confirmations. Neither a refund nor a reservation confirmation has been provided. I am requesting the confirmation of my reservation and a refund for the second charge.
