Booking.com Charged Me for a Stay I Never Made Due to System Error

Between July 31 and August 2, 2024, I tried to make a reservation at Marianna’s Rooms in Skala Eresou through Booking.com. During the process, I received an error message saying “Reservation not completed,” so I assumed that the booking had failed. When I tried again, the hotel appeared fully booked, so I reserved another property through a different platform.
About a month later, I noticed a ₺6,660.42 charge on my credit card statement from a reservation I never completed or stayed for. I immediately emailed Booking.com several times to report the issue, but I have not received any response. I also tried calling the Turkey customer service number listed on the site, but it responded with a message saying the number does not exist.
My reservation confirmation number is 6066647789, PIN 5522, and my registered email address is a*******@hotmail.com**. The system displayed a technical error at the time of booking and clearly stated that the reservation was not completed, so I am unsure if any cancellation policy applies in this case.
I am requesting a full refund for a reservation I never completed or used, as the charge resulted entirely from a technical error on Booking.com’s system.
