I have never had any booking or affiliation with Booking.com, yet on my credit card, a charge of ₺24,648.91 was made without my knowledge or authorization. I immediately closed all my cards and contacted the bank to file a dispute.
After that, I tried to reach Booking.com to report the fraudulent transaction, but I couldn’t find any representative or support line within Turkey. I then contacted their official support email (c*************@booking.com**) several times. While they asked for some specific information, such as:
My card details (without the full number)
The SMS verification code from the time of the transaction
My card PIN
Transaction date and time
Transaction amount
…I was unable to retrieve booking details because I don’t have an account or email confirmation — the fraudster used a different email address.
Despite providing everything I could, I have received no resolution or refund. I’m left in the dark, with a serious amount of money missing, and no way to speak to anyone in Turkey.
