I booked a flight through Booking.com, and due to a glitch on their mobile site constantly refreshing itself, my flight was mistakenly booked for June 30 instead of the correct date, May 30. I had selected a Flexible Ticket specifically to avoid issues like this, thinking it would protect me in case of errors or last-minute changes.
However, when I contacted customer service, they told me a cash refund was impossible, and the best they could do was issue a voucher. A few hours later, another representative contradicted that and said even the voucher option wasn’t available. In the end, I lost $100 (₺) for a flight I never intended to book and couldn’t use.
Yes, you can reach customer service, but they keep bouncing you between departments, and no one actually resolves the problem. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but this experience has completely shattered my trust in the platform.
I demand that Booking.com fully refund my money, acknowledge the technical issue on their mobile site, and stop misleading users about flexible ticket policies. If I can’t rely on the platform’s interface or support, I have no reason to use it again.
